Rarely do you get footage of such vandalism, but considering this woman smashed a BMW 7 Series with a hammer for about 20 minutes, witnesses had enough time to get their smartphones ready and push the record button. For what it’s worth, it is rumored the car didn’t even belong to the husband but was, in fact, owned by the wife.
Car-related rage takes a multitude of forms and colors, but when it comes to actions arising from jealousy, things sometimes get out of hand. Gone are the days when people would simply call it quits and move on. No, in the age of the smartphone and social networking, you’d better watch your back. If you know you did a no-no, that’s when you should keep a low profile.

And the BMW 7 Series is not exactly what you call a humble four-wheel commuter you use to get from point A to point B. After all, the 7 Series is the German automaker’s top sedan as far as price, size and refinement are concerned, with prices easily topping $150,000 for the most expensive models. Since it’s China we’re talking about, the bar raises quite a decent bit up to 200k, if not more.

As we said, the sad event happened in China, Shenzen more precisely, and the vandalism lasted for about 20 minutes. According to Shanghaiist, the woman used a hammer to repeatedly hit the car after she previously saw her husband and another woman in the vehicle. Onlookers were alerted by the loud sounds of broken glass and banged metal, and when they approached the woman, she was allegedly shouting: “the bi*** who sat in this car is too filthy for words!”

If you think this is madness, here’s what happened next. Parking security guards approached the woman asking her to stop vandalizing the car, but she told them it was her car, so she could do whatever she wanted. Apparently, she even showed them documents proving it was hers, after which she moved on with the hammer.

As you can imagine, the Bimmer suffered some serious damage with both the front and rear lights being broken, the hood smashed, the four door handles destroyed, and the windows quite a bit battered.
