Cardi B’s daughter Kulture wasn’t even born when she got her first car, a Bentley Bentayga for kids, but rapper Wiz Khalifa is all about teaching his son some real values.
At least, that’s what one can take from his recent Instagram post and comments, in which he showed his kid with Amber Rose preparing for his first day of kindergarten. Apparently, that included a ride on the bus, something many of us are familiar with.
Still, it’s a rarity in showbiz. Rappers in particular are flashy by nature, so fans expected Wiz to whisk his son to school, on his first day, in one of his many flashy rides. As it turns out, he had other ideas in mind, so he let him take the bus. You know, like us mortals.
“Being rich don’t got nothing to do with a child’s experience,” Wiz wrote on Instagram after many of his fans rushed to criticize him for letting his kid do public transportation like a regular Joe. Indeed, fans thought that was good enough reason to go after the guy – but that’s an entirely different issue.
“All y’all people asking why I would let my son ride the bus, cause I’m rich,” the rapper continued. “And he said he wanted to ride the bus with his friends, so let kids do what they want to do. Chill.”
We might also add that letting a kid be with other kids and see how the other half live will also teach said kid values he’s not likely to learn by riding in expensive cars and being put in a bubble. Most of the times, celebrity kids are even more entitled and self-absorbed than their parents, even though they haven’t done half the work their famous parents did. Wiz and Amber’s could be the exception.
