It's not everyday that you see the Black Series version of the already-bonkers Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG, but spotting one without the obligatory DTM-like rear wing is kind of like the cherry on the cake.
As most of you already know, the SLS AMG Black Series is the fastest ever production car wearing the three-pointed star to lap the Nurburgring Nordschleife, its 7:25 minutes time on the Green Hell being even lower than that of the old SLR McLaren 722 Edition.

We suspect that a pretty important part of the car's on-track performance might also come courtesy of the rather huge carbon fiber wing at the rear, which is somewhat inspired by the SLS AMG GT3 Customer Racing Car.

Apparently, the owner of the following SLS AMG Black Series didn't like the attention, nor the high-speed stability that the aerodynamic was giving him so he decided to go for the smaller and hydraulically-operated spoiler from the standard SLS AMG.

While not necessarily becoming a Q-car after the deletion of the wing, the car does look a bit more understated and less road racer, something which we have to applaud as self-proclaimed sleeper-look fans.
