The prize: dinner for four and a night spent in a cable car, at 9,000 foot, above the French Alps.
Let’s pretend you decided it was about time to take that long awaited trip in Europe, but simply visiting Paris and the Louvre Museum is far from being what you need. A two-month road trip through the Old Continent with that Volkswagen T2 you still keep in the backyard is out of question since you don’t really afford missing work for more than two weeks. What would you say if we were to tell you there’s a chance you and your 3 companions can go for the trip of your life in the French Alps for an out of this world skiing experience?
All you need to do is sing in with an Airbnb account and send a message of 100 words maximum - in French or English - in which you explain why you should be the one to stay one night at 9,000 foot (2,700 meters) altitude in Courchevel, France. There will only be one winner that will use his prize along his/hers 3 companions. According to Airbnb, the winner will be chosen entirely on merit, based on two judging criteria applied by a panel of judges.
Not only will the four dine and sleep in the cable car basically being suspended in the air and surrounded by nothing but wilderness, snow and the French Alps, but the prize also implies flight or train tickets. After they spend the night of 6 March in the cable car, the next morning the winning group will get to be the first on one of the world’s most popular ski tracks.
