This may seem like watching teleshopping, but Formula One fans will certainly be glad to see the result of the latest collaboration between Williams F1 and Power Plate. If you want to do your workouts like the Williams F1 team does, then you should take a look at the limited edition Williams Power Plate machine finished in the Williams F1 livery.

Though it may be hard to believe, the Power Plate pro6 machine is being used by AT&T Williams driver Rubens Barrichello and other team members as part of their fitness training.

“I can really feel the benefits of the Power Plate machine, especially for stretching. Usually I feel stiff after a race, and can have trouble getting out of the car but this helps me feel looser and more flexible. It's also a great way to improve core strength, essential for coping with the enormous G-forces caused by racing at high speeds,"
Rubens Barrichello said in a release.

The new Williams pro6 model features the proMOTION technology, that uses Vectran cables to transfer nearly 80% of vibrations directly from the platform to the muscles of the arms, back, core and shoulder, therefore enhancing training intensity.

"The key thing we seek to achieve in our physical and mental preparation for the AT&T Williams drivers and pit crew is to improve 'capacity'. Put simply this means 'more work - less effort'! Every time we do a training session we try and stress the body. The Power Plate machine is key in helping us achieve this and has proved to be invaluable!"
said Nicholas Harris, team trainer and Formula One Driver Human Performance Expert.

The new limited edition Williams Power Plate pro6 is available exclusively from Harrods department store for £10,395 (about US $15,600 at the current exchange rates).
