In terms of music, will.i.am from he Black Eyed Peas can do it all - rapping, singing, writing, producing, playing the keys, the drums... you name it. So it’s only natural that he believes his own hype and thinks he can do anything.
Last year, he went into the carmaking business with a company called IAMAUTO, and presented a white car designed by him. Unfortunately, it was soon argued by the media that it was actually a DeLorean with a body kit built by West Coast Customs a while back.
However, the artist insisted it was built from a bunch of Chrysler parts to ensure it was road-legal. So, how road-legal was it?
Well, apparently not very, as it was impounded by the police last week in Hollywood. The car had no VIN numbers, plates and Will failed to provide registration for it... because it wasn’t registered. The artist admitted to the police that he knew it wasn’t road-legal, but wanted to get a feel for it.
