William Nowicke Named Think Global Operations VP

The manufacturer of perhaps the most promising non-mainstream electric vehicle in the world, the Think City, has announced this week the appointment of William Nowicke as head of the company's global operations.

His position of vice president in charge with the expansion of the company to more markets will give Nowicke the chance to bring the Norwegian built EV right up the alley of the bigger players, like Nissan or GM.

“William joins us at a time of great operational growth at Think,” said Barry Engle, Think CEO. “We are doubling our manufacturing capabilities across two continents. We’re also growing our engineering facilities to capitalise on business-to-business opportunities resulting from new generations of Think EV drive-train technology coming to market.

“His experience in global automotive operations and development will prove invaluable in these very busy and exciting times.

William Nowicke comes to Think with 15 years in senior auto industry executive leadership, but also some turnaround know-how. He has spent recent years as vice president at AlixPartners, the same company that hired Fritz Henderson, the former GM CEO so deviously pushed aside last year by Ed Whitacre.

“This is a new industry presenting new challenges all of its own, and I am delighted to be joining a company at the very heart of this fascinating sector. Think is a leader in its field, particularly from a technical perspective, and this is what I look forward to developing even further, starting from our well established Europe base and expanding into new EV territories around the world,” added Nowicke.
