Marvel and Harley-Davidson have been working together quite well over the past years for the Captain America franchise, and the house of Milwaukee found it fun and profitable to insert their new machines in the movies.
First the Street 750 in the Winter Soldier, and then the electric LiveWire prototype in the Avengers: The Age of Ultron, Harley-Davidson has not missed any opportunity to show off a bit and advertise their bikes.

The latest trailer for the upcoming Captain America: Civil War movie does not stray from the "recipe" and reveals a new Harley machine, if a mysterious one. When we first watched the short video, we almost believed that H-D traded places with Victory and we were seeing the mighty Octane drift machine in action.

This was a bit too far-fetched, and watching the trailer again convinced us that the bike was not the Victory Octane. Of course, the big question is what bike is that?

So far, Milwaukee is silent, and so is the rumor mill

Some say that the mystery motorcycle is nothing but a Street 750 that received some fancy add-ons, and it may be so, possibly a facelift model.

On the other hand, we honestly wish to see a new liquid-cooled Harley, so until our hopes are broken, we still believe Harley is teasing a new bike in Captain America: Civil War.

The model is, without a shadow of a doubt, powered by a liquid-cooled engine, but anything more than this is pure speculation. The tail light is an LED unit and doesn't resemble that of the Street 750. Even more, the dual coil over shock rear absorbers have red springs, and this makes us think about high-performance ones.

Rather unlikely to be present in a bike that is advertised as a budget-friendly Harley, "R-specced" components could be an indicator that Milwaukee eyes adding higher-performance liquid-cooled machines to their line-up. An Octane echo?
