Qt Services have just revealed details on their new road legal Wildcat 300STR, that comes to teach the Range Rover Sport a lesson on how things should be done on off-road. At the heart of the 300STR is a 4-litre V8 engine, capable of developing 3-figure speeds over completely unmade terrain' and sprint from naught to sixty in 5.8 seconds. All this while also delivering some pretty acceptable fuel economy and emission figures.

“Since Qt Services took over production of the Wildcat, they have developed and launched what can only be described as the meanest road legal off-road vehicle, equally at home in the City of London as it would be in the deserts of North Africa,”
a company statement reads.

Highlights of this Wildcat include a fully welded tubular chassis, 4-wheel drive, 5-point harnesses, heavy duty differentials and drive-shafts, as well as air conditioning, Bluetooth, iPod dock and stereo hi-fi.

“If you consider that the 300STR is essentially a two-seater, there are a number of options open to you and this first production 300STR has been specified with rear storage for the new owner's golf clubs.  We'd love to be there when he rocks up to the clubhouse and parks it next to the Astons and Mercedes! Definitely a head-turner,"
the boss of Qt Services, Dave Marsh, said in a release.

Qt Services, the developer, says there are three Wildcat variants to choose from - the 300STR, and the competition models 400NSR and 500DKC.

These might not be the best choice when going for shopping or taking your kids from school, but it can sure provide you with some quality time when experiencing rough terrain.
