Since the 2009 Geneva Motor Show is almost here, every single news telling us about the models to be displayed at the event is surely welcomed. Well, it may seem like Wiesmann plans to attend the even too but more importantly, it will also display one of its latest creations, namely the all-new MF4 Roadster. Unfortunately, the company hasn't released too many details about the car but only a teaser giving us a glimpse into how the car will look like.
According to auto motor und sport, the car comes with an impressive lineup of features, including a redesigned chassis that makes it a bit more aerodynamically. In addition, airbags for both the driver and the front passenger will be offered as standard, according to the aforementioned source.
It seems like the manufacturer intends to offer a choice of two different engines that would provide different maximum outputs and obviously different fuel consumption ratings.
The first engine is a 4.8-liter BMW V8 unit that produces a maximum power of 367 hp (270 kW) combined with a maximum torque of 490 Nm. The second version is a 4.0-liter V8 powerplant that develops more power than the previous variant: 420 horsepower (that's almost 309 kW).
The teaser provided by the manufacturer doesn't say too much about the car, apart from the fact that it will come in the form of two-door roadster (which we already knew from the model name).
