Have you ever wondered what would happen if Lexus came up with its version of the Toyota 86? Given the ways of the luxury brand's F Division, the result might just be a blast. However, with no such plans in sight, we can at least enjoy a bodykit that makes the Toyobaru look like a Lex.
We've discussed this package before, with the kit coming from Japanese developer Aimgain and being called LF-SPORT. Then again, with the package being available in multiple forms, there are plenty of applications, with each mix having its own appeal.
For instance, on the 86 sitting before us, we can see the front apron, which involves that massive spindle grille that gifts Lexus cars with an angry look, the fat front and rear fenders, along with the also-extrovert side skirts that connect the two.
Then again, it looks like the sportscar has maintained its factory apron, with the same being true for the exhaust layout - while the Toyota comes with two pipes, the LF-SPORT packa can include a quadruple setup - check out the image gallery above and you'll understand (only the first three pics showcase this particular car).
Of course, the wheels play an important role here. We're looking at rolling goodies provided by AG Wheels, with these packing uber-fat lips that help them fill out those fat arches.
Heck, given the mirror finish of the said lips and the camber and ride height settings, the shoeing job alone acts like an attention magnet.
As mention above, Aimgain's package has been on the market for a while (we first came across it back in 2015), so you might just get to see this in the flesh during your local Cars and Coffee event. And you are now well prepared for the encounter.
PS: Yes, the owner of this Toyota lover her machine so much that she simply named her Instagram account 86gal.
