Thanks to the company’s mechanical upgrades, Rolls-Royce's luxury SUV will reach 62 mph (100 kph) from a dead stop in just 4.6 seconds!
If you happen to be the privileged owner of a premium supercar and think that your ride could really do with a healthy dose of additional oomph (for some odd reason), then Novitec’s auto masters are your guys. Not only does the crew specialize in tasty mechanical upgrades, they will also complement the enhanced performance with an assortment of widebody garments that'll let everyone know they’re not dealing with a stock machine.

As time went by, the autoevolution pages have been adorned by some of the juiciest four-wheeled masterpieces born under the German tuner’s roof. These include a Ferrari 812 GTS with 829 wicked horses on tap and a McLaren 765LT that eats tarmac for breakfast, to name but a couple. Now, you might already be familiar with the company’s SPOFEC division – a dedicated branch whose area of expertise revolves around Rolls-Royce's opulent entities.

On that note, let’s proceed with a closer analysis of the aftermarket package they’ve developed for the manufacturer’s range-topping Cullinan Black Badge. For comparison’s sake, we’ll be having a quick look at the standard vehicle’s main characteristics before we dive into any details about SPOFEC’s tuning spells. The premium SUV is brought to life by a 6.8-liter twin-turbo V12 leviathan that feeds its force to all four wheels by means of an eight-speed automatic transmission.

In its original form, this ruthless piece of machinery will be more than happy to produce as much as 600 hp at approximately 5,000 rpm. On the other hand, an ungodly torque output of up to 664 pound-feet (900 Nm) will be summoned at 1,700 rpm. To be fair, it goes without saying this bad boy is a genuine superstar, and don’t you even get me started on the top-grade materials and accessories found inside Cullinan’s cabin, alright?

Besides powertrain upgrades, SPOFEC’s goodness consists of 24-inch forged wheels and a menacing widebody kit named “Overdose.” The latter widens Rolls-Royce's beloved creature by 10 cm (3.9 inches) up front and no less than 12 cm (4.7 inches) at the rear. We notice the front fascia wearing a beefy bumper and splitter, while a fresh diffuser and one tiny spoiler lip can be spotted on the opposite end.

To round out the bodywork pizzazz, the German firm went about installing enlarged fender flares on both ends, as well as a pair of custom rocker panels in between. As to the new shoes, these sexy things have been crafted in collaboration with none other than the gurus over at Vossen. Featuring nine sets of twin spokes, the hoops do a great job a filling the extra space that’s been created by the chunky fenders, thanks to their humungous diameter.

Additionally, SPOFEC fiddled with the car’s suspension settings to reduce ground clearance by 40 mm (1.57 inches). In terms of performance, the 6.8-liter V12 was honored with revised injection mapping, new ignition programming and a generous increase in maximum boost pressure. Ultimately, this whole ordeal unlocks a staggering 707 hp and 785 pound-feet (1,060 Nm) of crushing twist at optimal revs, enabling the Black Badge to accelerate 0-62 mph (0-100 kph) in no more than 4.6 seconds.

The finishing touch comes in the form of a stainless-steel exhaust system that’s been fabricated in-house. Furthermore, customers who would like to manipulate the exhaust’s soundtrack may choose to opt for a state-of-the-art module that comes equipped with actively controlled flaps. At this time, the tuner hasn’t revealed any information on pricing and availability, but we’d encourage you to contact them via Novitec’s official website if you’d like to enquire about this offer.
