Widebody Porsche Taycan Looks So Sleek

Nowadays, no machine is safe from the desires of the tuning culture and if you don't believe it, you can check out this Liberty Walk Lamborghini Miura. But what about performance EVs like Porsche's brand spanking new Taycan? Will such vehicles be modified? Well, my bet is on "yes".

Sure, production of the Taycan hasn't even kicked off yet (the Zuffenhausen factory will start bringing the EV to the world on September 9), but once customer deliveries get going, you can expect to see the electron juice sipper being taken down the customization route.

Before I explain why, let me mention that I've brought along a rendering showcasing a Taycan that has been gifted with the kind of mods that should show up in the real world, namely a widebody kit, along with a set of coustom wheels - you can check this pixel play out in the social media post at the bottom of the page.

Now, it's no secret that one can use toys like the Porsche Taycan to gain social media momentum. And given the uber-premium nature of the Zuffenhausen machine, this will obviously be put to work for such lifestyle adventures.

So, what can you do to stand out once other YouTubers and Instagrammers get their hands on Taycans? Give yours a custom look, of course.

And while I've already pointed out that the Porsche Taycan and the Tesla Model S appeal to different audiences, I'll have to remind you that the Palo Alto vehicle is no stranger to modding. From body kits to an adventure that made the P100D lighter for drag racing, we've seen multiple shenanigans of the sort.

Oh, and by the way, here's what happens when somebody goes crazy with the aero on a Panamera, albeit a model belonging to the first generation.
