Now that McLaren has brought the Speedtail under the spotlights, the Senna doesn't get quite as much attention as it used to. Nevertheless, we're here to talk about the inevitable fate of the Senna.
"So, what is that fate you're talking about?" we hear you asking? Well, judging by how the aftermarket realm works these days, the Senna will eventually get modded.
Let's take a look at the P1, for instance. Despite the complex hybrid hardware and the serious aerodynamics, McLaren's motorsport partner Lanzante Motorsport still managed to get its hands on the car.
At first, the company came up with street-legal conversions for the P1 GTR racecar. Later on, Lanzante delivered the ultimate incarnation of the Woking gas-electric model, namely the P1 LM.
For now, all we have on the Senna are renderings, such as the one we've brought along. This image brings a rather dramatic aerodynamic transformation of the 800 horsepower track attack toy, gifting the Woking animal with a widebody approach.
Of course, such a take will split opinions, even though the McLaren Senna already comes with a controversial, aero-dictated design. Then again, Yasid Oozeear, the digital artist behind this stunt, has a fetish for delivering such pixel plays, so this shouldn't come as a surprise.
Speaking of renderings, we'll remind you that the fresh Speedtail has already received its fair share of such adventures. The digital stunts can be divided into three main categories: those that gift the 250 mph beast with a certain livery, those that turn it into a Spider and those that are simply random, such as the one that mixed the elements of the Macca with bits from the Koenigsegg Regera.
Of course, there are also hybrids (check out the first link) and we're expecting new categories to show up in the future.
