Widebody McLaren Senna Looks Like a Bugatti, Has Huge Aero

It's a real challenge to find a line on the McLaren Senna that isn't interrupted by another element, all in the name of aero, of course. So, with this uncompromising factory design, it could be hard to believe that owners would ever turn to the aftermarket in search of extra aero spice. But what if they did?

Well, the result of the McLaren Senna getting a tuning job focused on the body could look like the contraption sitting before us.

As you'll notice in the social media post below, the appearance of this hyperbeast can almost make the factory car look tame. Heck, this massaged example is even spicier-looking than the Senna GTR racecar - make sure to use the swipe feature of the post, so you can compare the Senna bodybuilder to the original car, okay - pixel tip to carnewsnetwork for this stunning rendering.

Interestingly, since the Senna comes with such a downforce-dictated design, there are hardly any purists who adore it, so it's not likely that somebody will complain about the newfound look of the 800 horsepower monster. And while we're talking matters that require attention, here's to hoping McLaren has looked into those fire incidents.

Speaking of which, here's how Woking described the appearance of the Senna: "The appearance of the car is deliberately aggressive; organic shapes have given way to a design language that is purposely fragmented in its pursuit of absolute performance, with downforce and aerodynamic balance the guiding principles. The McLaren Senna is the strongest expression yet of McLaren's 'form follows function' philosophy,"

So, does this pumped-up version still fit the bill? I'll ask you to be the judges of this one.

As far as the tech side of the tuning market goes, one example of Senna work comes from US developer Hennessey Performance, which has announced a 1,000 hp program for the British hypercar.
