Prior Design is a tuner best know for their BMW and Mercedes. But with the lines between top-end sportscar and entry-level Italian supercars becoming increasingly blurred, it’s not surprising that they did their first Lamborghini Gallardo widebody aero kit.
The kit is dubbed PD-L800, so presumably it’s going to get 800 hp eventually, and is made from Dura-Flex FRP (Fiber Reinforced Plastic).

“This material is characterized by an excellent surface finish that provides sufficient flexibility combined with high stability and allows for easy and inexpensive painting. Also, our parts are all made with excellent fitment with no modifications or alterations needed for the parts, which minimizes installation costs,” Prior says.

The body kit costs €12,900 ($15,900 at today’s exchange rates), and includes a wider front bumper with bigger intakes, the beefed up front and rear fenders, a roof scoop for that racing look, a big rear wing and a wider rear bumper.

The impression we get is that the kit wasn’t just designed to look good. Plenty of Gallardos have been pushed to over 1,000 horsepower, so 800 should not surprise anybody.

Mihnea's favorite cars have already been built, the so-called modern classics from the '80s and '90s. He also loves local car culture from all over the world, so don't be surprised to see him getting excited about weird Japanese imports, low-rider VWs out of Germany, replicas from Russia or LS swaps down in Florida.
