Ladies and gentlemen drivers, as those of you who follow our Speed Shot tales (there's a tag for that below) know, we've already went through a wide range of renderings portraying the 2020 Chevrolet Corvette in widebody form. However, the one we have here is set apart by its creator.
These pixels belong to Bryn Alban, an aficionado who does this in spare time. As for what keeps the gear head busy during business hours, you should know he's the vehicle director for the Need For Speed series.
Now, before anybody starts thinking about using this widebody C8 'Vette as a wallpaper before everybody else does, you should know the chances of this particular example making it to the franchise are pretty slim.
Yes, the NFS: Heat title is scheduled to reach our world next month (the official debut is scheduled for November 8), just a few days after this year's SEMA show will boost our appetite for tuner rides.
But the contraptions running around in the game are much more elaborate, perhaps even more so than the other widebody C8 Alban has gifted us with.
Besides, it looks like this is more of a hobby rather than a doorway to the list of NFS cars. Speaking of which, Ghost Games has published the said list back in August.
And, out of the 127 vehicles, 8 are Chevys, with 3 of these being C7 'Vettes. So perhaps a C8 will join the party sooner or later, even though, once again, it probably won't be the one we have here.
PS: Will the mid-engined Corvette come with the kind of bang-for-buck to blow the competition up, as is the case in real life? For one thing, perhaps the metric should be bang-for-points or something like that. Regardless, we'll have to do a bit of waiting before we get our answer.
