ABT has made some crazy tuning projects before, but nothing like this. Though this is more of a pet project of the racing driver Daniel Abt, who fell in love with the little Audi A1 and decided to turn it into something special.
Over the past couple of months, while the car was in development, we watched some of his videos. And we know some things about it already. For example, the hood is now full carbon fiber. So even though no other A1 will get this level of detail, we hope ABT will at least offer part of this kit to its customers.

It almost feels like Audi has given up on the little A1, even though every owner we've met has nice things to say about it. Development of a successor to the S1 has been scrapped, so you'll forgive us for getting excited over "400 horsepower."

While ABT does offer a power pack that takes the A1 40 TFSI from 200 to 240 HP, this 1of1 boasts twice the factory output. And it sounds brutal, thanks to a double order of 114mm straight pipes with carbon fiber tips.

The body kit itself is like a combination of other epic Audi tuning projects. The body kit has grounds effects (the diffuser, side skirts and spoiler) that look like a DTM race car. But Jon Olsson's RS6 also had DTM looks, and the man responsible for these "polygon split design" is Erik Aleksanjan, who actually worked on that car.

Meanwhile, the wide fenders are a lot like Audi's own concepts, such as the TT clubsport. The A1 now sits a lot lower on H&R suspension springs and Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 265/30 R19 red-wall tires wrapped around some epic wheels that mimic the glowing of race car brakes.

And as for the interior, we have a full Alcantara wrap and a roll cage in the back. Tell us what you think this A1 is now worth.
