Widebody 2020 Corvette Loots Sexy in White

Despite switching things up with an engine in the middle of the car and an interior only the Klingons can understand, the 2020 Corvette still feels obtainable, a blue-collar supercar without fussy design or features.

Right now, dealers are asking incredible sums from people who want to be the among the first to own one, but we're confident that once production reaches critical mass, these cars will become "normal." This, combined with the predicted popularity, means tuners are going to do much crazier stuff here than with the C6 and C7.

We're not talking about drag race conversions and custom exhausts. No, we want the full exotic car treatment, like silly "elbow" wheels for celebrity rappers or body kits for those who are into the JDM scene.

It's only a matter of time before we start seeing fender flares. And if companies are interested in printing some of those, an artist by the name of Brad Builds may have the 3D files all lined up. His renderings give the C8 the extra meat it deserves.

It's not limited to just the front and rear extensions for the wings. The side skirts with vertical stabilizers ensure the Vette doesn't accidentally take off, while the front sports a massive chin. Other small revisions include blades to feed more air into the engine and a revised wing which looks suspiciously like the one on the Aventador SVJ.

The widebody look always means new wheels and a bottoming out the suspension. Brad doesn't disappoint in this regard either, as there's a lot of extra rubber sticking out. No visual signs that extra power has been added, but the near-500 horsepower V8 is sure to get superchargers soon, both the official and aftermarket kind, and there's plenty of room under the glass screen.

He also loves local car culture from all over the world, so don't be surprised to see him getting excited about weird Japanese imports, low-rider VWs out of Germany, replicas from Russia or LS swaps down in Florida.
