The days when you’d buy a car and then simply drive it are obviously over, as almost every new car owner at least gets new wheels, if not changes his ride’s color or shape. But nowadays even that habit changed, only to make room for yet another custom feature: auto tuners making anything from watches to phones. It’s the case of German DMC custom shop who have recently unveiled their 24 Karat Gold iPhone 6.
Limited to only 88 units, the high-end phone is fully encased in pure gold and garnished with some sort of shiny stones, most likely Swarovski crystals. The Dusseldorf-based auto shop posted an album of their new “custom” iPhone 6 on Facebook, without really giving any details about its features, nor its price.

As far as we can tell, it would seem there is more than one model to be created, as not all the phones pictured have the stones. For those interested in buying one of the phones, we’ll gladly remind you about a similar luxury iPhone 6 that will also hit the market. Only thing we hope is that it won't turne out to be as expensive at that one.

Apple recently announced they’ve commissioned British jeweler Alexander Amosu to design a unique model of the company’s newest smartphone. Handset with over 6,127 brilliant cut diamonds, it will take two months to make and will cost about the same as you’d need to by three hybrid supercars, the LaFerrari, Porsche 918 Spyder and McLaren P1, all together.

But don’t you worry, there is yet another opulent smartphone in development which will cost even more. The smartphone edition built by US-based company Falcon is split into two separate collection named “Bespoke” and “SuperNova,” a total of 21 customized versions of the iPhone 6. The cheapest one will cost $2.25 million, while the top-of-range comes for $48.5 million. Yes, $48.5 million.
