Who Knew the BMW M4 Can Do Magic Tricks?

It seems like there’s little the new M4 can’t do these days. After drifting on top of an aircraft carrier and showing us what real handling means, BMW posted yet another video of the new car doing out of the ordinary stuff: magic tricks.
Abracadabra seems to be the magic word that made the new M car disappear in smoke after drifting for a couple of seconds to distract us. Call whatever you want but we like what we’ve seen. And just like that, the Bimmer is gone.

Truth be told, the M engineers had this ‘fun’ part of the new cars in their minds all the time. Otherwise, how would you explain the Smokey Burnout feature? Oh, you don’t know what that is? Well, it allows you to perform burnouts even with an automatic transmission, something you couldn’t do on the previous models. We showed you all about it here.

Now, with 431 HP and 550 Nm (406 lb-ft) of torque at your disposal from just above 1,000 RPM, it would really be a shame to let it all go to waste and not burn through some rubber to impress your friends or the audience (only in proper environments, of course).

If there’s one thing that will keep people at bay, it will be the price, even though we don’t really see it as high. Starting at $64,200 in the US it has a great bang for the buck ratio, if you exclude the American alternatives, that is. Until you make up your mind, check out the magic tricks it can pull.
