Cats and many other mammals which are used to leaps and jumps have tails to help them keep balance in mid-air, but humans lack this rather helpful detail of their anatomy.
However, it looks like the human brain is powerful enough to compensate for the dynamics and with enough training, complex jumps can be performed safely, even when other devices are involved, be them skateboards, bicycles, bikes or snowmobiles.
Still, a decent sense of balance is mandatory for avoiding silly accidents, but it looks like the chap in this video thought he was good enough. From what we saw, he was only good enough for riding on a flat surface and getting run over by his own snowmobile, after crashing funnily.
