Ever since Japanese tuner DAMD turned a Toyota GT 86 into an a green V8 Vantage, we've had the sneaking suspicion that the whole industry was going to cannibalize Aston Marin. The TopCar Vantage is our proof, but it's also pretty awesome, so we forgive it.
Ever since the current generation Cayenne was launched, the Russian tuners at TopCar have been making a name for themselves with a package called the Vantage. The weird thing is that it's made from carbon fiber, so it can cost more than the British sportscar.
Anyway, the body kit is insanely cool and has been updated to fit the 2015 Cayenne and its updated features. Color is very important in the perception of a car, and in white, the SUV looks like an elegant brute. ADV.1 wheels with blacks spokes can only add to its charisma.
The tuning process comprises of many individual parts that cost anywhere from €120 ($135) to €4,500 ($5,000). They can also arrive in carbon fiber finish, but that wasn't necessary here. The Cayenne received a custom front bumper a larger splitter, flared wheel arches, side skirts, inserts for the doors and a beefy rear diffuser.
We also enjoy the look of the quad exhaust system that helps Porsche's V8 breath more easily. Higher up the back end, a discreet spoiler connects tinted LED taillights, while a back wing subtly emphasized the sports truck look.
TopCar usually fits its projects with performance upgrades, but this particular unit doesn’t come with such goodies or a custom interior, as the owner didn’t request any.
While an all-black Cayenne is suitable for Darth Vader, the Lord of the Sith, this white SUV with black accents works well with the Stormtrooper army. And our Star Wars metaphor is not unfounded either, as the Russian tuners have left out their vented all-carbon hood. After all, you can't have soldiers using the same equipment as a knight.
