Have we told you that the best thing next to being mad about cars is getting to turn the top of the line into your own models? Yep, just like in fashion, the fellows working those lenses, transform from the regular auto enthusiast into a magus of hypercars.
Ferrari doesn't call the hybrid hypercar their most ambitious project for nothing, you know. There has been a lot of effort, great engineering and supreme craftsmanship to come up with each of the 499 units that Maranello will ever make. They truly pushed the boundaries of technology on a road car with the LaFerrari, and there are tons of reasons we’re saying that.

Let's take one thing at a time, though. For instance, let us all remind of the HY-KERS system, which combines an electric motor producing over 150 hp with the strongest incarnation yet of Ferrari’s classic V12. And that is Formula One technology right there. Yes, yes, but honestly, who came up with that beautiful design?

Well, the Ferrari Styling Centre worked closely with the engineering and development departments from the very start of the model’s inception; or at least that’s what the Italians claim. The looks may impress, but there’s more to this beauty than its exterior. Compared to the last limited-series special, the bodywork is narrower and lower to achieve maximum aerodynamic efficiency.

A center of gravity lowered by 35 mm, completely revised weight distribution, all make this beast drive like a jet fighter. Sure, it’s not that fast, but it is quite impressive. To be more precise, Ferrari states the LaFerrari has top speed exceeding 217 mph (350 km/h), and that it is capable of reaching 62 mph (100 km/h) in under three seconds.

To this day, many still believe you can't have a Ferrari in any other hue than Rosso Corsa, while sometimes they also go for a murdered-out look, but to have one in white is quite impressive, especially when it comes to the LaFerrari. Therefore, we figured it was worth mentioning.
