When Bicycles Ride Faster than Motorcycles Through the Twisties...

First of all, if you ask us, we would not have put this video online. There is nothing shameful or embarrassing going on, but we'd just have refrained from posting it, and that's all.

If anything, we'd have watched this footage over and over again, understanding that there's an immediate need to revise this riding style, possibly to get back to some motorcycle training courses and insist on the How to Make a Turn part.

Given the poor and even dangerous lines these two fellows have around the bends, we'd rather say that some more exercise with a good instructor is a must lest they get themselves, and possibly others in big trouble.

However, we're happy to see that these guys are not speed freaks, and this allows them to at least stay on the right side of the road. Unfortunately, it's not that rarely when we see riders coming in too hot into a turn and understeering then either flying off the road in the decor or into incoming traffic, sometimes with catastrophic results.

The front rider manages to make a fool out of himself, anyway. If you watch the entire video you will see how he struggles to pass the cyclist almost taking him out, also because of the utter lack of riding skills.

We're not exactly amused by the video and neither are we laughing at these fellows, as we're rather worried knowing that they are on the road, barely avoiding getting thrashed and hurting others. We DO hope that, if some of their friends also watch the video, they'll have a serious talk with these chaps, for their own good.

Also, seeing such riders astride motorcycles on the public roads makes us question the efficiency of whatever training courses they attended. As far as we know, these scenes were filmed in Colombia, on the road between Sasaima and Villeta, a dangerous road where numerous fatal accidents happen each year, and with such motorists in traffic, it doesn't look like the statistics will improve anytime soon.
