When a Ferrari 488 GTB Overtakes a Lamborghini Huracan at 200 MPH

When you're doing 200 mph (make that 320 km/h if you prefer the metric system) in a Lamborghini Huracan, you basically have an Apocalypse button under your right foot. Show-off reasons aside, this almost supernatural power is why you've bought the car.

Alas, if you happen to be enjoying yourself alongside a Ferrari 488 GTB who is doing the same, his apocalypse will be faster than yours. And we want to show you such a stolen glory moment in the video below.

The clip brings together a V10 Sant'Agata Bolognese machine and Maranello's twin-turbo V8 velocity god. Both machines are dressed in Black, with their drivers going for a full throttle adventure at a British that's aptly called Vmax200.

This means the supercars enjoyed the empty runway of the Brutingthorpe Aerodrome, but the Prancing Horse couldn't help it and stole the Lambo's show at the speed mentioned above - pay attention to the footage and you'll notice the 488 passing the Huracan.

The 488 GTB easily dominates the Huracan in terms of output, with the Ferrari offering 670 hp and 560 lb-ft (760 Nm) of twist and the Lamborghini delivering 610 hp and 413 lb-ft (560 Nm).

In fact, the difference between them allows the Prancing Horse to even beat the all-wheel-drive Huracan in the quarter mile, albeit by a blink of an eye (10.3s vs. 10.4s, respectively).

Are you into the ever-more-popular drifting pehnomenon? We don't even need to mention which car you'll have to choose.

Nevertheless, the Huracan can take pride in the fact that it hasn't sold its soul to the forced induction devil, which means that any race between the two is aurally dominated by the Lamborghini.

And while, on the design front, opinions will obviously be split, we can bet on the Huracan having winning more votes than the 488 GTB -Fortunately, the clip also shows us the cars from outside.
