The newest modification pack for the V10 incarnation of the R8 comes from the vehicle’s home country, Germany, and has been created by Wheelsandmore.
“Wheelsandmore from Germany, individual luxury tuner for sports- and supersportscars presents their latest conversion with the inconspicuous code v10 .6,” stated the press release.
Just like the tuner's name says, the kit offers much more than wheels, as it comes with an ECU upgrade and a stainless steel exhaust that uses special sound-control valves. These increase the 5.2 liter V10 unit’s output from the factory stock level of 525 hp and 530 Nm to 600 hp and 590 Nm.
The vehicle is able to handle the extra muscle just fine thanks to a KW race suspension.
“To lent the German sportscar a sportier performance, combined with more aggressive occurrence, the tuner adapted a KW race established special coilover with adjustable rebound and compression, hydraulically liftable around 1.77 inch,” stated the press release.
The car now rides on C-Sport three-piece rims that offer multiple color and surface combinations. The wheels come in a 9,0 x 20 inch size for the front axle and in a 11,0 x 20 inch size for the rear one and are wrapped in Continental Sport Contact III tires (235/30 in the front and 295/25 in the rear).
