 The new BMW M3 and M4 models (yes, I’m still calling them new, even though we’re reaching their first year in production mark) look good on their stock wheels but they can be further improved. The biggest change done to a car’s looks with the least amount of effort is a swap of wheels and tires.
That’s what most petrolheads noticed and that’s what the guys from Tag Motorsports know too. Therefore, they teamed up with HRE Wheels and created a gallery of different fitments and tire combinations.

As they warned everyone, you should know that before changing the wheels on your car you need to take into consideration the suspension you’re riding on or going to be riding on. That’s because inner clearance towards the front strut varies due to factors such as coil overs, springs and so on.

Therefore, the cars in the gallery below have different configurations and we are going to mention them all, in the order of appearance:

  1. BMW M4 on 20x9.5 inches and 20x11 inches HRE RS103 wheels wrapped in 255/30/20 Pirelli PZero tires up front and 285/30/20 round the back. Suspension: H&R sport springs
  2. BMW M4 on 20x10-inch and 20x11.5-inch HRE P104 wheels in 265/30/20 Pirelli PZero and 295/30/20 Pirelli PZero tires on H&R sport springs. Can handle CCB brakes.
  3. BMW M4 on 20x9 and 20x10-inch HRE FF01 wheels in 255/30/20 and 285/30/20 Hankook Ventus V12 tires on H&R sport springs with 15mm front and rear spacers
  4. BMW M4 on 20x9 and 20x10 HRE FF15 on Pirelli PZero 255/30/20 and 285/30/20 tires, Bilstein Clubsport suspension and 15 mm spacers
  5. BMW M3 on 19x9.5 and 19x11 HRE Classic 300 wheels wearing Toyo R888 265/30/19 and 295/30/19 tires on KW Clubsport coil-over suspension
  6. BMW M4 on 19x10 and 19x12-inch HRE R101 wheels with Michelin Pilot Supersport 255/35/19 and 305/30/19 tires riding on KW Clubsport Coil-over suspension. This can actually clear CCB brakes!
