No, we’re not talking about a classic 2000GT here, but a new car. In fact it’s a van that looks kind of ordinary for some people... until the doors slide and uncover something very unusual for a Toyota.
It’s a Toyota Vellfire. You probably know this model from Japanese tuning shows, where it’s almost impossible not to see one with big rims and an air suspension. But since average people can buy one in Japan and customize it, why this one we have here cost so much? Luxury is the answer, and this Vellfire Royal Lounge has it.

You won’t find it at your local Toyota dealership, but there are companies in Japan exporting the Royal Lounge (try google ‘batfa’ and see what you get) and set you up with this exquisite boss ride.

It is offered with two engines and two drivetrain configurations:
  • 3.5-liter V6 making 280 hp and 235 lb-ft 2WD - $121,000
  • 3.5-liter V6 making 280 hp and 235 lb-ft 4WD - $124,000
  • 2.4-liter 4-cylinder hybrid making 150 hp and 140 lb-ft. 4WD - $132,000

Prices don’t include shipping costs, but if you really want this crazy minivan, we’ll let you know it comes with fully-adjustable rear captain chairs with heating and ventilation (probably massage too, we don’t know too much Japanese), minibar, TV with multiple connectivity and DVD player, a powerful surround system, folding tables, individual reading lights, rear vanity mirrors, leather upholstery, wood trimmings and probably more.
