What's Jaguar Preparing for the 2013 LA Auto Show?

Among the 22 world debut announced for this year's Los Angeles Auto Show, the Jaguar brand jumps out to bite you.

Like Land Rover, they will have at least one brand new car for us next month, but what could that be?

Just like Land Rover potentially has two cars coming our way, so does Jaguar. We could see both in LA, only one or neither.

XFR-S Sportbrake

This is probably the most likely scenario. The hyper-powered estate market is ripe, thanks to the Audi RS6, and Jaguar's answer is going to be a good one. The biggest gun in Jag's arsenal will be fitted, the 550 PS supercharged V8 coupled to the latest ZF 8-speed auto. Expect drag races between estates and Porsche 911 to follow.

F-Type Coupe

Jaguar is also currently testing the hardtop version of its new sportscar, the F-Type. However, this is expected to bow next year at the Detroit Auto Show and will almost certainly go on sale in 2014. Even so, the F-Coup' could be shown as a concept.

XS Concept

This might be a shot in the dark, but the Leaper could show us the design of its affordable sedan that's supposed to be ready in 2015. The XQ crossover scheduled a year later in 2016 has already been previewed in Frankfurt, but it could be a case of "one concept too many" for the 2013 auto show season.
