What Car Would You Buy if You Were a Star?

Although many of us don't like to admit it, ladies, we all like gossip... to a certain smaller or bigger extent. And when it comes to gossip about celebs, things are just too good to be kept only for ourselves. Especially when we speak about their cars. Many times, we see them buying cars that we, the mere mortals, can only dream at. We criticize or admire them for their choices, we sometimes wish we were in their shoes yet we suddenly wake up from the fantasy when we remember that stardom is not all roses. But now it comes the true challenge. Suppose you have the celebs' money, what car would you buy? Would it be a customized Bentley Continental, a Mercedes SL or an Audi R8? As I am absolutely sure each of us have their own car fantasies, let's take a look at some dream possibilities. The already boring choice - Bentley Continental

Too many celebs are picking this model so the choice has become sort of old-fashioned. Certainly, I am not referring to the car but to the lack of originality  among stars. To be honest, the car itself is a very good choice for the sub-$200,000 coupe category: opulent interior, nice styling and sleek exterior shape. And if you customize it just a little bit, it might turn out to be the perfect choice for a wealthy lady. However, to my mind, the degree of customization shouldn't reach Paris Hilton's level. A pink Bentley looks more like a huge Barbie toy car rather like an elegant luxury vehicle.

The monstrous Cadillac Escalade
Although at first sight it wouldn't look like the best choice for a wealthy elegant lady  except for the case when she has her own personal driver, Cadillac Escalade is the choice of some female celebs. Perhaps it's because it gives them a sense of “being above others” or it's just the fact that female stars want to prove that women do drive big SUVs and enjoy the ride to the full. Why would you buy such a car in case you dropped upon a gold mine? Certainly because of its over-the-top attitude.

The sporty Audi R8

In case it's red, even better! Your red high-heeled shoes will be nuts about it. Fast and quiet at the same time, elegant and sporty, aggressive and mild, the Audi R8 is a perfect vehicle both for a wealthy lady and for her man as well. The only problem is the storage space which is almost absent. And that brings us to the million dollar question: what kind of lady would spend more than $100,000 on a car that tells her the luggage must stay in the closet?

The sleek Porsche Carrera 911

When I had my first driving lesson and barely knew how to hold the steering wheel, a white Porsche Carrera 911 stopped near me at the junction. The driver - a famous TV star - didn't even bother to watch the other cars surrounding his Porsche beauty. That time I said to myself only celebs afford cars of this kind but later I changed my mind. The thrilling performance of the car can surely impress even the most skeptical critic but as expected, maintenance is pricey.

The devilish Mercedes SL

For those who want to look “bad”, for those who are very proud of themselves, for those who want to show off as well as for those who crave for a vehicle that would make their friends envious, the Mercedes SL is the right choice. Now leaving the joke aside, the vehicle may look extremely elegant, comfortable and fancy but we just can not ignore the “devilish attitude” it inspires. This is the perfect car for the ladies who know how to get what they dream about at night.

The spectacular Rolls-Royce Drophead coupe

Although this car seems to be mostly the choice of male stars rather than of ladies from Hollywood, no one can ever deny the car is appropriate for both sexes. Elegant and distinguished, majestic in appearance and in proportions, the interior of the vehicle may be nicer than Paris Hilton's bedroom. Certainly, because size matters, the car may attract paparazzi. So even if you're not a star, you may be easily taken for one... in case you get behind the wheel of a Rolls-Royce Drophead coupe.

The extra-safe Volvo XC60

For stars with more modest earnings and fear of the road, the Volvo XC60 is both comfortable and safe. Most likely, you aren't going to die in this car but you won't get the luxury of the a princess' castle either. However, you won't see too many stars photographed near such a safe machine as you know... stars like to be spotted near truly awesome cars...

The challenging Lotus Elise

Why not a car like Lotus Elise since it's the day when we robbed a bank? Why  so many muscle cars among female stars' preferences? Honestly, women also love sports cars, races and stuff like this. The most obvious proof: take Danica Patrick for instance and no one will ever dare contradict me on the fact that ladies do not enjoy pressing the gas pedal... Coming back to the Elise however, the car stays simple and... powerful.

The incredible Ferrari 430 Coupe

Now it wouldn't be fair if I didn't unveil  my choice, would it? So, here it is... all red making my heart melt: the Ferari 430 Coupe. It would be useless to tell you the million reasons why I would let's say do (almost) anything to drive a car like that so, I have only this word for you: amazing/brilliant/magnificent supercar, it would make me feel like a racing lady on the track!

Now that you know what dream car you could drive, all you have to do is give up your current profession, take up acting/modeling/directing lessons and maybe someday you'll get the chance to have such a beauty in your garage. Or you just have to work really hard for... let's say 50 years, from now on, save every penny and eventually buy one when you retire. And let's just not ignore the dangerous possibility of making your boyfriend/husband rob a bank.
