Promising to take the electric bike amrket by storm and set new standard for green performance, Mission Motorcycles proudly announces their new machines as beasts which are designed, built and assembled in the US.

Both bikes are based on the TTXGP race-proven architecture, so riders should expect nothing short of a really thrilling experience fom both the limited editon RS and the highly-configurable R machine.

Both machines boast sub 3-second 0-to-60 mph (100 km/h) acceleration, 150 mph (241 km/h) top speeds, and ranges of up to 140 miles (225 km). The bikes will be available in multiple configurations, with 12 kWh, 15 kWh and 17 kWh battery packs and are up for immediate reservation.

The big-battery Mission RS is offered for $56,499 (€43,380) after the $2,500 (€1,920) federal tax credit, while the R version is $29,999 (€23,033) including said credit, but lacks the racing-specced Öhlins FGRT forks and BST carbon fiber wheels. Rated around the 160 HP mark, both bikes will be delivered starting with the Summer of 2014.
