Thought your turn signals are a bit dull and other road users might not see them? Then it's time to upgrade to high-intensity LEDs, and the latest ones to emerge on the market are these from WeiserTechnik.
Motorcycle LED lighting company Weiser announced the introduction of their new Ultrabrights Extreme turn signal upgrades that are said to double a rider's chances of being visible on the road in any weather conditions or time of day.

“Weiser LED Lighting was developed by motorcyclists for motorcyclists,” said Chairman, Mark J. Atkins. “I’ve ridden a bike since I was a teenager and am fully aware of the dangers when you’re not seen out on the road. That’s why I combined my engineering experience with advancements in LED lighting to develop Ultrabrights Extreme. I encourage my fellow biking brothers and sisters to make sure you’re safe on the road – it doesn’t matter how good a rider you are if a vehicle doesn’t see you.”

Each unit is powered by 12 high-intensity OSRAM automotive LEDs, said to be the brightest in the industry. As such, Weiser's new turn signals are eight times as brighter as OEM bulbs and four times brighter than other LED signals, including their past models.

The product is designed to fit a wide range of motorcycles that use the classic "arrowhead" turn signal housing. This includes BMW, Aprilia, Triumph, KTM, Buell, Ducati, MV Agusta, Moto Guzzi, Triumph, Yamaha and Zero motorcycles.

Produced in both the United States and the United Kingdom, the Ultrabrights Extreme upgrades can be installed without modifying the existing wiring harness or adding extra components to the initial setup. You only replace the original bulb and reflector (standard LEDs where available) with the bits from Weiser.

Each kit contains two units which are guaranteed to work in accordance with your motorcycle's CANbus electronics system and are designed to comply with current automotive electronics safety standards.
