Bike and scooter accidents are seldom funny, mostly because people usually get hurt. However, there is that special category of accidents which also come with such a hefty dose of rather grim fun that makes one smile, even though pain is the name of the game.
For example, the video below shows the type of Asian scooter rider we’ve featured on so many occasions, wearing no helmet, speeding, and never caring to check the road to spot incoming traffic and most important, imminent dangers. Determining which of the above has the bigger role in the overall sea of recklessness is obviously a very hard task, but in the end, it’s the outcome which matters, and unfortunately, this wasn’t the luckiest day for the scooter rider.
The funny part of all this misadventure is that the guy is literally crashing into a wedding. Well, it’s a wedding convoy, but you definitely got the point. The crash looks pretty bad, with the rider possibly ran over partially, so we can safely assume that the wedding was also affected, with declarations, police work and all the delay that came with them.
Even so, things could have gone ever worse, as a large numbers of scooters and motorbikes were following the cars. Now, try to imagine what sort of combo strike the fellow would have had, riding fast into the group and taking down several two-wheelers… And since only a few of the riders pictured in the beginning of the video can be seen wearing a helmet, we might have gotten to see a wedding take place on hospital grounds.
