We Sort of Like the VW Beetle Four-Door Coupe

Yes, it's only a rendering created by some guy with or without a Photoshop license, but we think X-Tomi Design is on to something here.
Let's examine his rendering first. The slope of the roof is pretty good, and the lower door trim helps conceal the fact that it's much longer between the wheels. But other than that, thus might just be the Beetle everybody actually wants.

Fiat has made a five-door version of the 500 as well, but it's a much different story. The 500L is more like a minivan, a rival for the Citroen C3 Picasso, while this is closer to a sedan. The Beetle four-door has lost none of its facial beauty through this transformation and with an extensive range of customization options, it will look quite special going down the road.

BMW has transformed the original Mini into a whole family of vehicles that share the same looks. So why can't VW do the same with Beetle.

He also loves local car culture from all over the world, so don't be surprised to see him getting excited about weird Japanese imports, low-rider VWs out of Germany, replicas from Russia or LS swaps down in Florida.
