WCC Builds Tyga a Killer Mercedes SLS AMG

Young rapper Tyga already has a Rolls Royce Drophead Coupe and a gold chrome Audi R8 siting in the parking lot, but that wasn’t enough.

His latest acquisition is a Mercedes SLS AMG, the gullwing coupe built by the AMG division and sporting a powerful 6.3-liter V8 motor. It’s the front-engined equivalent of a supercar, but it also does the luxury game justice.

But once he bought it, Tyga knew he had to make it more special, and he decided to give it to West Coast Customs so they could do their thing. They stripped it down to the bare bones and repainted the car in white, also fitting some deep lip wheels from HRE finished in white.

WCC also tinted the rear lights and added red as an accent color for all the grilles, a color mirrored inside the SLS.

So who is this rapper that buys cars like we do with socks, and then customizes the hell out of each issue? Michael Ray Nguyen-Stevenson on his real name is part of the younger generation of hand-shacking-while-spelling-lyrics so-called artists, but that never stopped these people from getting rich fast.

As opposed to most in the biz, at least this fellow is thankful for his success. You know how we know about that? Well, we bet you didn’t know that Tyga stands for Thank You God Always. You also probably never heard he spent his childhood in Compton, California; you know it’s that bad neighborhood Dr. Dre and Ice Cube were rapping about back in the day. He rapped his way out of such kind of life and now lives the big life.

It was last year when things got far-reaching since that’s when he signed a recording contract with Young Money Entertainment, Cash Money Records, and Republic Records. You may recall that annoying Coconut Juice single mainstream radio outlets would repeatedly play.

Mihnea's favorite cars have already been built, the so-called modern classics from the '80s and '90s. He also loves local car culture from all over the world, so don't be surprised to see him getting excited about weird Japanese imports, low-rider VWs out of Germany, replicas from Russia or LS swaps down in Florida.
