Remy, the older of the MotoGP legend Wayne Gardner's two sons, is touted to become the next Casey Stoner. He's 14 and has already stormed the Repsol CEV of Spain, finishing second. In two years' time, he will be of legal age for GP racing. And then...
Wayne Gardner say Remy is already riding a full-spec GP bike and is getting better and better at it, learning a lot and heading the right direction.

Remy Gardner started competing in the Australian dirt-track, just like his father and the other two Legends Mick Doohan and Casey Stoner did back in the day. Wayne also adds that dirt racing is the "vital school" before taking the first step in road racing.

Yet he becries that more and more circuits are closing down because of housing estates expanding, noise complaints and costs.

If things develop at this rate, Remy could ride a MotoGP bike in 4 years or so, but his father says he will not hurry things, but only support his son the best way he can.

Wayne's other Son Luca is 11 and is also following in the steps of his father. Gardner moved to Spain to provide his sons with the best racing environment and training opportunities.
