Toyota didn't miss the occasion to participate at the Goodwood Festival of Speed this year and brought the best cars it had.
Excluding the GT 86 Griffon that was seen in the UK for the first time, Toyota brought two of its most powerful racing cars made – the TS020 and TS030 that raced at Le Mans.

The TS020, also known as the Toyota GT-One, was a racing car that was initially developed for grand touring GT1 rules after which it was adapted for the prototype LMGTP class at Le Mans, where it raced in 1998 and 1999. It is powered by a 3.6-liter V8 engine that develops 600 bhp and 649 Nm of torque hooked up to a TTE six-speed unsynchronized sequential gearbox.

In 2012 Toyota got back at L Mans with a hybrid TS030, which features the Kinetic Energy Recover System (KERS) regenerative braking device which generates electricity used by the motor to aid the 3.4-liter V8 petrol engine.
