Back in January, 69 cars got together in one place to do the world’s biggest burnout. The event was took place during Australia’s Summernationals and was validated by the Guinness Book of World Records.
Six months later, the guys over at Hot Rod Magazine decided it’s time for the record to be smashed on American soil and called for a 73-car smokefest at the zMax Dragway in North Carolina. The application has been already sent to GWR, but it’s yet to be approved, so you’re going to watch the world’s unofficial largest burnout. No need to worry though, this tiny little detail doesn’t make it less spectacular.
The entire lot of 73 car comprised only US-built vehicles, ranging from classic to modern and from musclecars to pickup trucks. Just have a look at it below and you’ll see a couple of rat rods, some Corvettes, Mustangs, Chevelles and other American legends.
