Lucky Wes Siler from Ride Apart got an unique chance to throw a leg over the 2015 Energica Ego electric superbike, and here's an extensive footage of the world premiere press test ride, kindly made public by CRP, the creators of the machine.
We thought that Energica will make it into production in 2014, especially as CRP announced the availability of reservations through a Paypal deposit 10 months ago.

CRP are rather secretive with their tech specs, and model line-up (in case there will be more such machines). All we know on this bike is that the price will be at least $22,900 (€18,000) as announced and that the battery pack can recharge to 80% in 30 minutes with a suitable DC source.

Energica Ego is touted to provide 50 miles (80 km) of high-speed, sporty riding, and 93 miles (145 km) ridden less aggressively. We'll delve deeper into the matter and try to bring up more details.

As for the sound recorded by the onboard camera... it's up to each of you judging it. Personally, I dislike it.
