Tesla Motors previously announced they were working on an Autobahn package that would boost the top speed of the Model S and now an owner has taken the car out on the Autobahn to see what it can do in the current setup.

Using a piece of Autobahn in the proximity of Berlin, Martin Thomsen of EV Network DK pushed the Tesla Model S to a top speed of 132 mph (212.5 km/h), at least in the speedometer’s acceptance.
While the top speed itself may not be all that impressing given the car’s 416 HP rating, you have to pay attention to the acceleration. Even in the triple-digit area, the Model S won’t give up accelerating at a pleasing rate.
