With an extra hour more than the 24 Hour of Le Mans, the 25 Hours of Thunderhill is one of the most extreme endurance races on the planet, and between 7 and 8 December, 2013, Lexus put its IS F CCS-R in the ultimate test.
Lexus brought the same IS F CCS-R racecar we saw at the Pikes Peak International Hill Climb about seven months ago, to prove that the team can perform excellently in any situation and that the vehicle is indeed as durable and flexible as they think.

After hours of driving in the night and only a damaged half rear axle which was quickly replaced by the team, the IS F CCS-R finished fourth in its class (which is also the fastest one in the race) and fifth overall, after doing 670 laps and over 1,900 miles.
