The Urus proves everybody secretly wanted a Lamborghini SUV, even the people who are mainly into low supercars. We saw similar interest when the Bentley Bentayga came out, but nothing on this scale.
RBD LA is a popular one-stop-shop for Hollywood celebrities. They're the guys who made Chris Brown's color flip Lamborghini Huracan, for example. And whenever it opens its doors, there's a chance that somebody drives in with a Lamborghini Urus.
Even though the SUV is as bold as a superhero costume, people want to take things even further, and that seems to include the owners at RBD. From what we understand, this white machine is theirs, and it's been fitted with a widebody kit unlike any other.
From what we've been able to find out, the package is by a company called 1016 Industries. It consists of the new bumpers and skirts which you can clearly see, though the V2 version of the package takes things even further with fender flares for that extra-wide stance. Everywhere you look, there a small piece of carbon, finished in that popular forged look which Lamborghini brought out many years ago.
There are so many pieces making up this package that we think it cost at least $30,000. The rear diffuser alone costs $7,100 when made from forged FRP. Besides beefing up the body, another goal is to make room for oversized wheels, making the Urus look drift-ready. These come in the form of 24-inch Brixton Forged alloys with 3-piece construction and a classic polished finish. Of course, we wouldn't be surprised to see the Urus wearing something else to SEMA later this year, maybe something gold.
The stock suspension just wasn't going to cut it for this application. Other mods include tinted windows a new sports exhaust and full body wrapping.
