Dorna Sports in association with Movistar+, IB3, Mediaset and the Vicente Ferrer Foundation announce the Jorge Lorenzo Guerrero documentary. Jorge Lorenzo Guerrero is a video journey that will take the viewers on a high-paced trip that covers almost an entire year and no less than 18 MotoGP rounds.
"Guerrero" is Spanish for "warrior" and it's not the first time when it is associated with JL99. As you might have already guessed, this 80-minute video documents Lorenzo's fight to win the 2015 crown, and it will offer an interesting view on each race from the last season as seen through Jorge's eyes.

The journey will take you through 18 races in 14 countries and on four continents. Guerrero will also include exclusive, unseen behind-the-scenes action and insights into the life of the 2015 champion, with all the ups and downs, fears, joy and anger that come with being a MotoGP racer that becomes a World Champion.

Lorenzo: "I want to renew my contract before the start"

The documentary is directed by Eugenio de Haro and written by Ruben Fernandez, and it will feature a lot of Yamaha crew members who contributed to Jorge Lorenzo's third MotoGP world title.

The list includes his press officer Artur Vilalta, manager Albert Valera, coach Marc Rovira, mechanic and friend Juan Llansá, crew chief Ramon Forcada and Team Manager Wilco Zeelenberg.

Jorge Lorenzo Guerrero airs tonight (February 25, 2016) on Movistar+ in Spain at 10 pm local time and is expected to go international soon after.

On the other hand, one of Lorenzo's latest statements mentioned the contract with Movistar Yamaha after the current one ends at Valencia this autumn.

"I want to renew my contract before the start of the season, but if not, I’ll just keep quiet and trust in myself. If we can not find an agreement, we will have to wait till Mugello or even Brno, just like other years…," Lorenzo told motogp.com.

"I have no hurry, especially since I am confident in my ability; I know I’m going fast and hopefully with Yamaha, but I’ll still be fast if I have to do it with another bike. My goal remains to retire with Yamaha without changing teams and try to match the four titles Valentino has or even surpass that. But it’s true, renewing before the start of the World Championship would take away some pressure and anxiety you as a rider may have when not knowing what the future holds," concluded the 2015 World Champion.
