Ducati and MotoGP fans postpone what you are doing, unless it is of crucial importance, grab a cup of coffee and lay back to watch the live streaming of the official launch of the 2016 MotoGP bikes.
Factory riders Andrea Dovizioso and Andrea Iannone will be on the premises, alongside Ducati Corse representatives and more officials. They will make a recap of the last years and how the new machines came into being, with all the efforts that have led to a new generation of MotoGP motorcycles that now have solid chances to return to success.

The event takes place at Ducati's headquarters in Borgo Panigale on the outskirts of Bologna, with participation of media and even Ducati fans. Alongside Ducati Corse boss Gigi Dall'Igna, the presentation will also have key members of the Ducati team, such as Davide Tardozzi and Paolo Ciabatti.

As of now, it is uncertain whether we will get to see Casey Stoner taking part in the presentation. However, we can hope that Stoner, as a brand ambassador for Ducati, will not be left out of this.

After all, he is one of the biggest names of all time that have been linked to Ducati and is also regarded as the best rider Borgo Panigale ever had in the premier class. Even more, Stoner returned to Ducati as a test rider, working along Michelle Pirro.

2016 represents a new era in road racing for both Ducati and the rest of the MotoGP field, as major changes will be implemented on the grid. All the bikes will be running the same ECU and the same software, and the tires will be supplied by Michelin after Bridgestone stepped down from their position as an Official Tire Supplier to MotoGP.

Ducati is expecting a great championship for both their factory team and for those who use non-factory bikes, including team Pramac and the customers. The first IRTA tests yielded good results from the customer bikes, and this gives Ducati high hopes from the factory ones.
