After we learned earlier that a heavily modified Dacia Logan will be racing in this year’s Swedish Touring Car Championship, we now provide you with some footage of it being tested on the track.
STCC cars are heavy modified versions of the regular street cars, so modified in fact that only the outer shell reminds us of what it used to be before racing. They all share the same chassis and powertrain, so that the pilots will differentiate only by their skills in the race.

The STCC Dacia is built by Swedish company Solution F and it powered by a mid-mounted 3.5-liter V6 engine that boats 400 hp. Bolted to a 6-speed sequential gearbox it si pushing the 1,000 kg (2,204 lb) car from 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) in 3 seconds, and helping it reach top speed of 270 km/h (168 mph).
