Watch Terry Grant Breaking Most Consecutive Donuts While on the Roof of a Car Record

When your parents represented the UK in various motorsports, chances you’re going to pursue an office career are close to zero. Of course, Terry Grant wanted to follow his family’s path, so the age of five found him behind the bars of his first motorbike. Ever since, the British stunt driver has never stopped forcing the boundaries of autos. One of those stunts happened eight years ago, but Guinness World Records have just released a video with it, so we figured it was worth sharing.

If the passion for cars can turn into a career of professional driving, then Terry’s eager to prove himself to the world sure got him the name of a record breaker. Since we’re fond of any stunt that brakes the system’s rules, it’s only natural to have Grant’s on our news feed list. Last time we were reporting about the mad man’s ventures, it was three years ago when he broke the Reversing World Record with a Nissan Leaf.

The video below may be a lot older, but it’s still impressive. It shows Grant achieving ten consecutive spins while standing on the roof of a vehicle. The deed happened in Santa Pod Raceway, Wellingborough, Northamptonshire, UK, on October 3rd, 2007, and the successful attempt was filmed by CCTV China.

This crazy stunt might have been overpassed by Alberto Aires Wierzbicki (Brazil) in 2012 with a total of 52 spins, but if you ever wondered where it all started from, now you know.

Getting back to the present times, you should know that you could watch the Brit daredevil performing live this June, at Drift Allstars. If you love drifting and you love world class stunts, then you’ll most likely want to be there.
