The 2014 Corvette Stingray in the clip below may look stock, but it’s anything but. This ‘Vette was heavily touched by Late Model Racecraft. To summarize all their work, they recently took the car to the drag strip, managing to pull a 9s run.
This was the first 9s run for modded a C7 Corvette, with the exact result being a 9.999s time at 132 mph (212.5 km/h). You can see the Late Model Racecraft ‘Vette accelerating towards the horizon in the clip below.
The video also includes a delicious soundtrack, even though LMR doesn’t mention anything about the exhaust. The tuner said they fitted the car with a Nitrous Express NOS system, as well as with a torque converter supplied by Circle D Specialties. Like we said, the tech upgrade story is definitely larger than that, but they're a bit shy on the details at the moment.
