Watch Ken Block Hoon the Focus RS in Cologne and Listen to the Exhaust

The factory floor of Ford Cologne, or Koln if you want to be German about it, turned into the scene for one of Ken Block's Gymkhana drift videos yesterday. The all-new 2016 Ford Focus RS was the reason for the shenanigans, and while we shared 40 minutes of press video footage with you yesterday, we decided to show this clip as well, just because it has the word "ho(o)ning" in the title.

You can tell Ford built an absolutely insane speed machine, since even though it's got all-wheel drive, Block manages to unstick it from the asphalt and turn it into a tripod with one wheel in the air.

Believe it or not, Ford has been making cars in Germany since 1925. The plant is one of the most modern in Europe, but the slippery painted concrete surfaces posed special challenges for the Gymkhana ace. Still, he did an awesome job and any model presentation that ends with a smoky burnout is a good one in our book.

Our appetite for RS power was still not quenched after watching this video so we decided to find something extra. And we did, thanks to car spotter Shmee150 who was invited to the event and filmed one of his typical walkaround clips and even captured the exhaust on "tape".

Ford has not released precise specs, but told us to expect over 320 hp coming from that 2.3-liter EcoBoost turbo engine. This will be sent to an all-wheel drive system that can send up to 70% of the torque to the rear wheels. Compared to the old RS, this one is a little more discrete, but still much crazier than a Golf R or Audi S3. With the Focus nearing the last years of its product cycle, this will undoubtedly be its crowning moment, a collectable that's hard to resist and even harder to keep up with.
