There is a huge cool factor about pretty much any bike Ducati has ever manufactured, and we were kind of expecting to see this "je ne sais quoi" seized and put in an artistic form in the newest corporate commercial of the Borgo Panigale factory.
However, it looks like they wanted more to showcase some of the products... and some of the ones who king of need a slight push. At least this is what we got from the omission (save for some brief frames) of the Monster series, which, truth be told, is their workhorse as far as sales go.
We cannot blame Ducati for such a move, and bashing is far from what we had in mind when stated to write this piece. It's always awesome to see large numbers of Ducati machinery, whether touring or at the race track.
If we were to synthesize this commercial in a phrase, maybe "Come, there's plenty of bikes to choose from" would be closer to the truth. And without being malicious, there's so much more excitement in real-life Ducatis than in this video...
